First off: you get 3 screen protectors for 1/3 the price at the apple store. Love that!
Second: they are cut to fit the 3g perfectly.
Third: the performance is great - no problems with the sensitivity of the screen.
Fourth: shipping was really fast.
I found this product was very easy to apply. There are instructions included. Just follow them and you'll be fine. You clean the 3g screen first, then peel off the bottom layer of the screen protector. That exposes the sticky side. Keep that facing down. To apply the film, start at either the top or the bottom of the 3g lining up either the speaker for your ear or the button - don't try to smack the whole thing down at once. Go slowly. If you mess up you can peel it back and re-align, don't throw it away if you don't get it right the first time. One it is applied you can use the little piece of included cardboard to sort of scrape out any air bubbles at the edges. That's it.

after reading all the reviews i decided to give this a (careful) try. i used the cloth that came with my iphone to make sure the screen was free of dust and finger prints, and then lined the cover up with the phone at the top first. once the oval lines up with the earpiece, you know you've got it. it went on nearly perfect. size is right for the 3g iphone, and touch screen still works fine. great price, good protection. would purchase again.

I'm here to buy a pack for a friend, having gotten my own with my iPhone a week ago. It takes care to apply the protector with correct alignment -- maybe that's why three are supplied. I needed one, it turned out, for practice. The second one's been on my iPhone for a week, and it's impossible to tell that it's there except by very close inspection of the home button and speaker, where the protector's cut-outs are.
Re another reviewer's comment about length... as applied, my protector covers a hair-thin portion of the silver part of the case above the top of the display. That is, I can insert my fingernail between the glass and the silver on all sides except for the top -- and that's the only way I can tell, as I can't tell visually. Visually I can see that my application is a hair too high because the speaker cutout is not vertically 100% symmetrical. But I've experienced no problems due to this slight vertical misalignment and don't see the potential for any.

I read all of the reviews before purchasing a screen protector. I chose this one because others have said that you get 3 screen protectors and 3 opportunities to set it correctly. I put on the first and although it set rather well when I put on my cover I lifted an edge--that one lasted 2 days. I reapplied a second protector and made sure all the edges were down and it works perfectly. It cleans up well with the cloth that is provided and minimal smudging and glare.
