It works! And for such a low price! Good buy for sure. Just sucks that if you buy a skin, you have to take the phone out every time if you want to put it in the desktop charger.

Works great with my new Bold 9700. I used a similar cradle with my 8310 Curve and it has become essential now with the Bold's new alarm clock features and "bedside mode" (which it automatically enters when docked between specified hours). Don't think about it, just buy it.

It does what it is supposed to do and does it with style. If you want to save your micro USB port and have a wonderful charging stand for your Blackberry 9700's bedside mode this product is right for you!!!

Micro USB is the new standard in cellular devices now and the Bold 9700 has it. However, if you have used Micro USB before, it is MICRO. I find it cumbersome at times due to its size......especially in the evening before I retire for the night. The DOCK uses the charger that was included with your Bold 9700..simply plug it into the back of the dock and it is ready to go. When you need a charge...drop the bold into the dock and forget about it. No more messing with the connector....
It is an AWESOME buy for the price..you cannot go wrong and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent little port. My past three phones have all died because the charging ports have broken. This little device has the world's easiest method of charging - using metal touchpoints in the cradle to connect with metal touchpoints in the phone. Additionally, the cradle has some weight to it, so it is stable on the table/desk. Overall this is the best $10 you can spend to protect your phone.
